2025-2026 Information
Overview
During 2025-2026, we will meet Monday-Thursday from 8:30am to 2:00pm. Our program is currently accepting students ages 6 (by September 30, 2025) to 12. We also host a study group for older children. The academic year begins in late August and follows a set calendar that includes fall break, Christmas break, and spring break as well as occasional holidays.
Training
The Elementary classroom is led by a mom with over 13 years of homeschooling experience. The lead guide has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology & Psychology, NAMC 9-12 years Montessori certification, and is currently completing the last half of AMI 6-12 Montessori with a Masters in Education (M.Ed) program. Our ratio is approximately one adult to every twelve students. Assistants are not required to be degreed but must have a training in positive discipline in the Montessori classroom and be oriented to the Montessori Method. To find out more, please visit the "about us" tab on our website.
Parental Involvement
Involved parents are an integral part of our program! While we do not require a set number of hours for parent volunteers, parents are active participants in their child's education. Parents are involved in classes by volunteering, overseeing going out, field trips, participating in student events, parent observation days, parent meetings, and more. Some parents lead clubs or teach optional classes. MM also hosts parent planning meetings for overall planning, typically in late spring or early summer.
Cost
Early Registration prior to February 1st is $50 per family that is submitted with the application. There is a curriculum fee and monthly tuition associated with attendance. Field trips/Going out is optional and not included in this fee. Parents are required to occasionally provide classroom items for projects, snacks, etc. Children pack lunches, an extra change of clothing, and re-useable non-spill water bottles each day.
How to Enroll
Parents are required to attend an open house session prior to applying for enrollment. Once an application has been submitted and registration fees paid, we meet with each family, including the children who will be attending, for a relaxed interview. Registration fees are required to begin the application process and are non refundable if your family is accepted into the program. Please see the FAQ section of our website for more information!
