Primary Guide
3-6 classroom
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and certified AMI or AMS Trained Primary Lead Guide to join our school and help inspire the next generation of learners. This individual will create a warm, dynamic, and engaging learning environment that supports the development of each child’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth. The Lead Guide will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons, managing the classroom, and guiding students toward independence and a lifelong love of learning.
About Mooresville Montessori
We are located in East Limestone, Alabama (35613). Mooresville Montessori is a growing community of homeschooling families who use the traditional Montessori method to educate our children. As we grow, we are looking for additional support in our classrooms. Currently, our program is for 6 years through approximately 12 years in the traditional Montessori program and a mentor program for adolescents middle school and up.

This begins as a part time position spring 2025, based on training hours.

Completion of training will be required to continue position full time in fall.

Full Time begins late summer 2025 on Mondays-Thursdays 8:30am to 2:15pm.

Small classroom of homeschooled children ages 6 to approx. 12.
Requirements:

AMI or AMS teaching certificate

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Willingness to obtain a first aid and CPR certification (school sponsored)

A strong understanding of the Montessori philosophy and community

Positive Discipline Training Certification within 60 days of employment (school sponsored)
